St. Matia Mulumba Old Kampala Parish is located on Plot 16, Old Kampala Road next to Old Kampala Police Station, opposite Uganda Muslims Supreme Council and Gaddafi Mosque; in the central Division of Kampala.
It was established by Rev. Fr. Francis Payeur of the White Fathers in 1984. following the laying of the foundation stone by His Eminence Cardinal Emmanuel Nsubuga on the 27th of December, 1981.
OUR story
St. Matia Mulumba Old Kampala Parish is located on Plot 16, Old Kampala Road next to Old Kampala Police Station, opposite Uganda Muslims Supreme Council and Gaddafi Mosque; in the central Division of Kampala.
It was established by the White Fathers, in 1984. Rev. Fr. Francis Payeur following the layingof the foundation stone by His Eminence Cardinal Emmanuel Nsubuga on the 27th of December, 1981.
The Parish, which today is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kampala, in the family of Christ the King Deanary and Kampala Vicariate.
The church serves
Old Kampala, Police, Gardens, Makerere Kivvulu, LDC, Kitamanyangamba, Bukesa, Namirembe, Bakuli, Namirembe Road business community, Kikuubo business Community,BenKiwanuka Business Community and Kisekka Market business Community.
